  • Hold your wife's hand....

.... at the mall because if you let go, she'll start shopping. It looks romantic, but it's actually economic :embar:
“Mu'min” is more that just a title. It is to have Imaan established in the heart and testified to by the limbs.

          Re: Hold your wife's hand....

I saw this on someones whatsapp profile the other day lol and thought it was pretty funny
It was an uf sister so she can fess up if she wants to :) haha
Anyway I was actually wondering (I know this is a funny phrase) is this permissible islamically... not meaning to delay the thread.
Just wondering because in public I even see Niqaabis holding their husbands hand.. I dont know why I thought it was impermissible or whether it is..but jus curious if anyone knows the answer..

Who goes to mall just to walk around?

Why would it not be halaal? You can hold you parents hand, or siblings hand or childs hand in public. Why not spouse??

Maybe I have a poor sense of humour, I don't think so, but these kind of jokes (especially by women) are utterly degrading.
Ya Muqallib al-Quloob, thabbit qalbi 'alaa Deenik
O' Converter of Hearts, make my heart steadfast upon Thy Way
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.

It's haraam to hold her hand AFAIK.
You think you know more than my scholar's qiyās? He was more learned than you and all other scholars combined. Yeah, the devil was the greatest scholar too and look where his qiyās of fire being better than tīn got him. Sorry.

You follow your scholar's qiyās, and I will follow the Qur'ān and Sunnah.
