  • Wife is still in search of 'true love'

Husband and wife both are happy with their marriage. Both have strong friendship and affection and they do well take care of eachother. They argue but occasionally and give due respect to their partner's opinion.

Still, wife feels that she hasn't yet found 'true love' of her husband... and husband wonders even after having two kids she feels so!

Has the husband asked the wife to define "true love"?

There are two kinds of "true" love
          1. Wife is in search for his superstar, playboy type romeo. So you're in no match with her "dream".
          2. Wife is in search for his true half of deen, so you need to try attain perfectness as a husband and make dua to Allah.

There maybe a limbo between these two, but I can't exactly explain that.

And if she already doesn't read?

Then probably should start reading them...

They both should start watching Pokemon, season 1.

                      :salams

Just ask her what this true love that she is seeking is.

                      And Allah :swt: knows best.
La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir
(there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),'
Do not say about Allah but Truth.

This is good, true love can't be far behind.

Wife should always keep in her min that shaytaan wants to wreck her marriage and will do anything it takes.
You think you know more than my scholar's qiyās? He was more learned than you and all other scholars combined. Yeah, the devil was the greatest scholar too and look where his qiyās of fire being better than tīn got him. Sorry.

You follow your scholar's qiyās, and I will follow the Qur'ān and Sunnah.

If the wife has trusted the husband enough to tell him that she is not feeling true love, than that is a very open and honest comment (even though it might sound hurtful). She's saying that she wants the husband to communicate his love for her. People communicate differently, just match her wavelength.

Brother, she is a pious woman, ma shaa Allah.... why would she allow shaytaan to misguide her...
