Re: How to share/manage money when married

I'd go with separate accounts. She either has a card that she spends on and he pays for or she has a monthly allowance that is deposited into her account. If she works or has her own money, she keeps it in here and buys whatever extras she wants from that money. I think it's always good to have your own money, for both sides. I wouldn't want to see husband's purchases anyway. Marry someone responsible, that has similar views about spending and saving, and you shouldn't have to spend time monitoring this stuff. Keep it separate and each does their own thing.

I think money causes a lot of problems in marriages and having a shared account gives people the opportunity to create discord and doubts. Something I've seen that has made me think twice. I've seen men complain about it.

I don't ask for much when it comes to material things just the bare necessities. He should have common sense when it comes to these necessities and how much they will cost him. If a man can't handle that then he should have remained single.
you're a good woman. and yes any man who can't even give his wife the basics (or doesn't want to) is not a real man, just a loser

                - wife agrees and husband is going to provide for everything

Which way(s) do you think is/are the most suitable:

The wife asks for money every time she needs to buy something
                There's a shared bank account
The husband gives the wife a monthly pocket money for her personal shopping
The husband goes with her wife every time she has to buy something and he will pay

                Or something else?
My husband leaves money in a safe in the house where we both have access too and I can take money when ever I want from it (this is where we put the large amounts 100, 200, 500) and than we have another container with small change (you know 5 shekels and 10 shekels for small things) in it where I can also freely take how ever much I want.

It's not like I take money everyday and when I do take money I'll tell my husband when he comes home "Oh I took 200 shekels today and used it on so and so." Even though he knows I don't waste money on stupid stuff I still like to tell him how much I took and what I spent it on
Don't depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in the darkness

if all of this is covered? Do you know how many members of your family you can feed with that much money back home?

You will never find a husband with this mindset.
Little do you know, and all ain't covered actually.

P.S - I'm not a husband and i don't need a husband with my mindset  that would be so wrong. Only one of us is allowed to be the wife.

I think they should be free to discuss whatever they want...it's their marriage.
