    What I would do.
You think you know more than my scholar's qiyās? He was more learned than you and all other scholars combined. Yeah, the devil was the greatest scholar too and look where his qiyās of fire being better than tīn got him. Sorry.

You follow your scholar's qiyās, and I will follow the Qur'ān and Sunnah.

Ask him why his parents named him that?

I'd simply say assalamu alaikum & end it.

I would never consider marrying a person named Dajjal, no matter how it's spelled.

What were his parents thinking when they gave him such a name ? Of all the thousands of names on Earth , this was the best they could think of ?

Even if the person seemed okay, the name would put all sorts of inauspicious thoughts in my mind. I definitely don't want to be referred as Dajjal's wife.

Ask if they would be willing to change their name? Actually the word itself is enough to strike fear so I'd probably politely decline and then run for the mountains

Well, I'm a guy. But if I had a daughter and a man proposed to my daughter, I would ask him to change his name.

Come on. It could mean something nice in his native language.

I often get embarrassed because my name is in Arabic which means something bad in my language.
