      Are you sure y'all Asian? Asian families can't fit in a house. Before you know it, you could have 50 people in the living room this excluding the other family....

        We had about 200-250 in the garden, and that's where they remained.

            Would you have your wedding ceremony/walimah in your house? To be honest it saves soooo much money. I have been to quite a few ceremonies in people's houses, I think it's good. But I think masjid is better. What do you all think?

            As long as the process of the nikkah itself is exclusively based on the Deen, I see no issue with having the walimah in a house really. It really isn't a big deal.
