First time I saw laser eye surgery on YouTube, I felt sick watching it, but when you're there as a patient, it must feel less squeamish. A friend had it done and his seems to have done good over the year plus.

So then, coloured contacts eh? Gori rang, gori akiyah? Is that what we we're going for lol

I write novels for posts. Beware. :mujahida:

Ummah Forum seems pretty black and white. Was thinking of offering Skittles as Dawah to introduce a rainbow.

Saving to get laser eye surgery down the line but i'm waiting till my eyes stop shifting about in sight for 2+ years. Clear contacts are great in that respect.
Thinking about laser eye surgery gives me the heebie-jeebies, imagine what it's like having lasers touch your eyes

I wear fake non-prescriptive glasses occasionally, cz im cool like that
Be careful about laser surgery. I read an article once. A reporter at a big international conference on laser eye surgery. All the world's top eye surgeons & specialists were there. Guess what? 90% of them wore specs...!!! Duhhh. Maybe they knew something we don't? It's too new. Ain't been around long enough to assess long term effects. The fact that its available and people are using it means Jack Sh*t. Cigarettes and Alcohol are lethal, how readily available are they eh?

I never quite understood as a person who has to wear glasses for sight why people consider it fashionable to don them when they have no sight issues. I didn't even feel the need to pretend when I wore clear contacts lol. Although I have read, that people do appear smsrter, so handy trick is to put a pair on in team meetings

glasses are more in fashion since the past two years at least. The 'geek' glasses are extremely popular, I personally think they look cool. However I do agree that those people who have no sight issues should not be wearing them, but there are also those other people that wear no lens glasses. I have never worn glasses so I don't know if I would look smarter but my friend looks she has a high job when wearing glasses.
              Okay :)

Contacts are great for the most part. You just have to make sure you clean them properly and whatnot as well as bnot keeping them in too long and allow your eyes to recover. Whilst wearing them, maybe keep a small contact lens friendly eye drops bottle around to help keep your eyes moisturised.

Follow all that and you'll enjoy the freedom from glasses.

Now, when I meant shopping, I guess mainly i'm talking about going with your spouse, NOT anything else you may have thought @)

I went out with family recently (mum and sisters) and began to realise I hate shopping with women.

*phew*, ok, now that you done throwing rocks sisters, i'll explain. When men go shopping, we seem so much more militarily precise about it and the process is quick. By quick I mean 3/4 hours MAX on actual visiting shops, deciding etc. Yesterday, it took us about 2 hours worth of travel to get to and from the shopping centre and even if I didn't count that, in total, we spent SEVEN hours! there. In fact, majority of the time it was probably just looking.

So, mainly for brothers I guess, but how do you cope and to the sisters, how do you make things easier for the husband when going shopping? I understand going with your friends isn't always an option @)

PS - I see it as a duty and therefore I would go and put up with the boredom if needed, but I l'm actually looking for tips on how to make it a fun experience for both spouses. :jkk:
