      Mabrook and commiserations?

Something tells me he's younger and you're older and not yet married.
I write novels for posts. Beware. :mujahida:

Ummah Forum seems pretty black and white. Was thinking of offering Skittles as Dawah to introduce a rainbow.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "You must be gentle. Verily, gentleness is not in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it."

I come from a Pakistani background and have seen the younger sibling get married before the elder. One were cousins where a man came for the eldest sister but she declined him, and they asked for the younger sister and she accepted. Another was actually somebody I heard of where apparently the grandparents themselves had chosen the younger sister of a family for the son of another. Allahu Alam whether they they were truly happy with that, but they did accept and appear to be fine. The girl was the younger sister and actually just turned 16 I think when the marriage took place. They didn't consider the elder sister at all which I found

Honestly, I couldn't care less if my siblings got married before me, but clearly this ignorance still is abound in Pak culture.

The world is changing I hope this Paki culture soon to and get rid of this wrong ritual and superstious belifs. Even if we are not in Paki it seems these tradition still run in our elders blood.
