  • What should I be looking for in a spouse?

    -prays punctually
    -attends masjid
    -good to family
    - has a weekend job at least
    - smiles a lot


    missing any key ones?

            Someone who genuinely wants someone with good character and deen :)

              See how he interacts with kids. Ask him what he thinks the role of a father is, what does he think is the best way to give a child a good islamic upbringing etc.

                  good with children
                  is polite/has manners
                  lowers his gaze

                      Anger and arrogance are always the worst traits to have. Sometimes it's so easy to tell when you observe their body language and how they talk lol

                      Definitely ask his siblings what they think

                        One thing to look out for is compassion and mercy

                        Not many guys have that from what I have seen
