I knew this story :masha: it gets my tear every time, just imagining how much the sahabas loved Allah and sacrificed everything for His sake and for achieving Paradise, yet we are so weak and struggling with our nafs

        Subhanallah..

Such an enviable strength of their belief in all that is to come..

Those people never lived to achieve anything in the world, their pure intention was the hereafter..

What will we be able to say when we are questioned on the same field as them, on the Day of Judgement...

        What excuse do I have?

And when it is said unto them: believe as the people believe, they say: Shall we believe as the foolish believe? Beware! They indeed are the foolish? But they know not.
        Al Baqarah : Verse 13
