Why is this in the marriage section? Shouldn't it be in 'Islamic Parenting'?

Khayr InshaAllah, it's not completely off topic. Perhaps Islamic Lifestyle is the most precise--wallahu A'lam.

Good lecture though, thanks for sharing.

It should be in a dedicated Zina section, or some other section,

Talking about illegitimate children in "Islamic Parenting" section would not be appropriate for obvious reasons.

I don't care what anyone says, all children are equal, if you think otherwise you are sick.

no one is putting the kids down for your information
the kids are not to be judged they are pure and innocent

its about the consequences do they count as the biological fathers child or the womens husband from the view of islam
does the bio father get i heritance
can he see her without hijab
can he be alone with her (khalwa)
                        etc

If the husband turns out to not be the father, it still makes him the step-father. So their will be no issue in terms of hijab or mahram etc etc.

And then ofcourse the bio father will be her actual dad, so no issues there either. Anyways what nonesense these people love to discuss.
