  • Are sharia courts relevant in UK for the Muslims?

I am interested to know what the general Muslim population of UK thinks about the existence of the sharia courts in this country. I wish to know whether the population thinks they are relevant for the purpose of the Deen. Whatever the view may be of anyone expressing it would be helpful if they can give reason(s) as to why they have that opinion.

No one has anything to say?

Sharia courts should be relevant, they got council members and learned people.
They have experts/scholars in the matter and offer advise.
Pretty much the same all over the world.
Perhaps, you may have a reason to as this question? an unpleasant experience perhaps?

But Im not in the UK, so don't count my word for it much. Perhaps others experience/encounters with UK shariah court may say.
Allah Subḥānahu wa-taʿālā has mentioned in the Quran in chapter Surah Al-Baqarah [ 2:183] and [2:185] O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous -

The month of Ramadhan is that in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. Al-Baqarah [2:185]
