    It is not stupid..

putting other languages aside and looking at the arabic language solely, the word is femenine.. remember this is the language chosen by Allah almighty.. it doesnt matter what other languages say..

    its still a nice parable..

    As Salaamu Alaikum,

This is just as stupid as saying Eve was behind the transgression of eating the apple.

Sun is not always feminine. Not in all languages, different languages treat the term differently... sometimes it's feminine sometimes it's masculine... Check French, German, Arabic, Hebrew..etc. So that invalidates the above claim.

oh i think this is ...

    Brilliant.

The word “shams” (sun) is feminine, and the “qamar” (moon) is masculine. The sun burns itself out to give light and life to everything around, the moon is muneer, meaning it reflects light. Within itself, it has no light; it radiates the brilliance of the sun. So when we shine as men, the implication is that we are reflecting the glorious light of our women. May Allah Subhana’ Wa’ Ta’ala be pleased with them” –Shaykh Abdullah Adhami

    aminn

there was a saying, behind every great man there was a great woman.
think prophet mohammed scw, then think khadeja, god bless her she was second to non. and is extremely hard to emulate.
