You need Forbid her from eating Haraam foods, if she doesn't listen, get her parents and tours involved and set her straight,

It's simply absurd. I've come across a lot of Muslims who think like this, especially those in the US. Also I once met a practising Egyptian lady who bought haram meat from Tesco cos' "big sheikh on TV says it's okay". Once they get a fatwa of approval from their sheikhs, they feel they have carte blanche to eat any meat they want from any store for the sake of their own convenience.
These "celebrity Sheikhs" aka Deviants will carry the sin of consuming Haraam meat, every time the person says it,

It's ridiculous, what you're sort of compelled to walk into these haram fast food places and consume junk like you just can't help yourself!?!

If you like this sort of food you can easily make better at home. It's not a hardship.

Many Christians in various countries still follow their book, and so do many Jews.

Then I fail to understand 'what' day and age you're talking about.

True, but hardly many in the west though.

This isn't just some 'weakness' though, it's a grave matter that cannot be overlooked so easily.

Anyway OP is a fantasy by the way, not real.

                      'This' particular day and age.

I hope that has clarified things.

True, but we don't know where the OP lives.

Yes bro, looks like we were talking about 'the' same day and age after all. :)

But you were referring to 'that' day and age? What day and age is that?

                          I didn't know that.

Even so bro, the issue was that the brother made a general statement on their food not being allowed whereas it should be looked at on a case by case basis.

You're right bro, and it's his error. He should not have made a general statement that has no relevance to this particular case. It was off topic and he should have known better.

Some are of the opinion that the people of the book referred to dont exist now.

Wife wants to eat noodle that has beef broth in it. Told her she shouldn't. She want.

She want to anyways cuz don't see it as a big deal. Its just a little beef soup she says. I say its not halal and it really isn't.
But she says she needs it cuz it feels good to have for her body. To have some warm hot spicy liquid food. And to have this just for an exemption. I told her she Could've gotten something that is halal to eat but goes on and say yea but this taste good and hit the spot

                                Wut do?????

Am I wrong for trying to stop her from eating it?
