Shave when travel?

    Shave when travel?

    I've been told shave for travel outside my country, what do you guys think of this? It is just annoying.

    You think you know more than my scholar's qiyās? He was more learned than you and all other scholars combined. Yeah, the devil was the greatest scholar too and look where his qiyās of fire being better than tīn got him. Sorry.

    You follow your scholar's qiyās, and I will follow the Qur'ān and Sunnah.

            Both, but the one who does shave will get far more.

              It depends on what you need to have shaved.

              Do you mean head hair? armpits? private area? beard? etc

                The matter is simple akhi.
                Shaving is not haram. It is what you shave that can make shaving permissible or impermissible.

                      No. And do not assume akhi. Over 5 years ago, in high school, I had a nonmuslim ask a question about the same matter. And if I had assumed like you I would have been wrong, because the matter was concerning shaving the private parts.
