      Real men.

What do you care anyway, you probably sleep through breakfast and need mummy to wake you up.

I had a chocolate caramel biscuit for breakfast. Not very healthy.

            Re: Life Plan: Breakfast

yes oats are quite filling. Porridge is especially good in the colder months. One time I had apple porridge then had to leave the house for an appointment and when I got outside it was snowing, but I felt so warmed up by the porridge (and my lovely coat but without that breakfast, my hands and feet would've felt more uncomfortable) that I was really comfortable even outside in the snow.

I think people should avoid stuff like nutrigrain bars which are packed with waaaay too much sugar- ready made convenience food is usually bad like that. If you're in such a hurry, then fruit is an instant healthy snack (if you don't have time to prepare anything) or if you like a hot breakfast then a good quality toast spread with whatever you have in the house (jam, peanut butter, fried egg, reheated leftovers from the night before etc). If you have time in the evening then consider baking muffins or something if you want a bit of a treat in the morning cos' often the baked goods in the shops are made with transfats and glucose syrup which are worse for your health and taste worse as well.

How about a plain banana as a starter? And then sip coffee or tea, is that sufficient?

Is sipping coffee healthier than drinking coffee?

                  @)

Just make sure whatever you eat, that breakfast is the heaviest meal of the day. And the evening meal is the lightest.
