  • Islamic Lectures Discussion thread

    :salams

In an effort to boost the Islamic section of this forum, I thought it would be a fun idea if we all listen to a lecture a week and then discuss it. If you have a suggest on what lecture we should listen to, post a comment below and fill in the following:

Speaker: (Name of the person who is doing the talk)
    Topic: (Title of the talk)
    Time: (How long is it)
    Link: (link)

A new thread will then be made every second Friday.

okay, sister or brother let me know about the lecture. btw its a great idea
    Ya Allah,
Make me a stronger person today. Make me a better person out of all these. It is no longer bearable for me for my heart is aching and You are the only One who knows how I feel. Nothing is making sense to myself and for anyone else for that matter especially to the one person I wish to understand me better than anybody else.

I'm in, great idea :masha: - I wonder how we'd pick the lectures to watch/listen to?

Members can nominate a lecture we should listen to, then we vote on which one we want. I can edit the polls, so a new batch would be up every week inshaa'Allah.

If you nominate a lecture, then you need to mention the following though in your post:

Speaker: (Name of the person who is doing the talk)
          Topic: (Title of the talk)

              I don't see why not.

The only problem is listening to it as I have to share a room.

Here inshaa'Allah. The threads I'll make every week only pertain to the lecture being discussed. This one is more of a general one where the polls will be displayed.
