Let me post my question and answer from Abu Musab. BRB
EDIT = here we goo. Brace yourself. lol.
~ Question:
:salams akhi, would like a fatwa for the following scenario:
A Sister who has mahrams (brothers + father) who are all unable to travel with her for various reasons and she wishes to travel. Would it be haram if she has family take her to the airport (wait with her until she boards the plane) and family pick her up from the next airport, so basically she is alone in the airplane ONLY, would that be okay?
:jkk:
~ Answer:
:wswrwb:
Unfortunately that will also not be permissible, because she is still travelling without a mahram, even if she were to fly a plane herself with no other passengers, the problem would still be that she is travelling without a mahram.
You give up on your desires to follow the commands of Allah.
Rejoice!

Wallaahu A`lam.
Me ~
Was this traveling for leisure purposes and not a special circumstance/emergency situation?
