They have a lot of fetishes, but so do people all over the world. The difference is they literally commercialize it and publicize it.

If you can get it, you can buy it. Services like pretending to be nursed. Pretending to be parented. Pretending to be a child. Etc... some of the weirder things and... that includes no sex at all just the role play of it. Go figure.

But the premise of role playing is not exclusive to Japan, just they have weird things.

Then there's the weirder stuff like anime porn o_o; Fake boyfriends/girflriends. Virtual boyfriends/girlfriends. Hug pillows (pillows that hug you when you're lonely) haha... ya
I never thought i'd say this but... you SCARE ME!

Absolutely, that is true about Japan. Suicide rates.

There are a lot of other weird facts.

Did you know adult diapers are sold more than baby diapers in japan?

People not only don't marry, they don't even date or have girlfriends/boyfriends nor want them. People don't want relationships. Even Japanese 'clubs' have this weird trend where people go to just 'talk' to people, not to seek out intimacy but you would think they're out to flirt. I forget the name of those places.

They also have a VERY weird sex industry which is beyond odd, strange fetishes and so forth. Pretty much since they don' have any real relations they have manufactured material emotional outlets to anything and everything.

They also have an overgrown population of youth and 'young adults' and 30+ year olds who are so socially immature that they act like little children, obsessed with video games and anime.

Girls also tend to be very sensitive in their emotional expressions over the top.

People are obsessed with careers and being workaholics.

The 'traditional Japanese' men and women are a dying breed... the high city life... and many odd modern day sub cultures are screwed up.

People are indeed very unhappy in Japan, and try to find satisfaction heavily in the material.
We should not critisize this. their self control is respectable in my opinion..

InshaAllah, people will be careful about generalizing too much. Yes, there is weird sub-cultures in Japan, but most people are 'normal' and just want to have a normal good life like anyone.

They are also one of the most depressed. When you are bored and life has no meaning other than working and dying, then you try to find interesting ways to fill your time. Depressed people do anything that kills the dullness. I know if I had to work in an office cubicle every day for the next 40 years, I'd be depressed too.

Ya I'm sure you can see on youtube plenty of videos about animations even anime style using flash and toon boom.. there was another software but i forget it's name too... toon boom and that other software are the most common. Flash HAS been used in commercial productions its just ... not specific to a complex production environment and was intended for web animation primarily.

i guess there are "cheats"... like reusing a stick position, especially if it is walking, it is just a repeat.

yh there are tweens and onion skining.

I never actually produced an animation because i thought using flash is not worth it. But if that is how some create good 2d animations then i will try it... inshallah.

The need to be proefficient in drawing, understanding human anatomy, physics, simulation, acting, etc... all necessary skills and knowledge to make animation happen. It sucks as a job lol, plus the grey area islamically like I told you in the other thread.

3D animation, even more complex, adding scripting, although then you go into 'keying' your rigged model rather than drawing individual frames.

Toonimation or something like that?

may i ask out of curiosity... what software did you use?

Everytime i look at works of short animations i just... wow it is truly beautiful... but i can never get my head around how it is produced.

Edit: TOON BOOM! yeah! Just remembered... However I was more interested in making games, therefore I focused on 3D stuff. It's too bad, I lost all my old stuff. I might still have some files somewhere.
