      :jkk: bro, Nice remindfer.

      But it is a common thing that happens whenever bros take their wife's into their mamas house. We're humans, we won't get along all the time (especially woman). But if it happens too often, then it is probably more beneficial to get the wife her own space (as it is her right) and give your mum less headache and space.

        I have to respectfully disagree. The whole point of the wife having her own place is that MIL isn't the host making her feel like the place isn't hers.The MIL should be treated well of course but if she's host and it's the wife's permanent residence, it's not easy for the wife to have a say. A woman needs to have a place she can call her own and run affairs how she likes comfortably. Many men do not understand this.

        If a man gives his wife something, it doesn't become her Mother in law's.

        If the place wasn't for the wife, then I'd agree (even if it is under the son's name)
