    Work life balance

    :wswrwb:

Taking up hobbies but not overwhelming yourself. Maybe start off with 2 or 3 different classes/ activities rather than bogging yourself down with 7 or 8!

Controlling your procrastination- so rather than saying 'meh maybe later', get up and do the activity you want to do then e.g. tafseer/tajweed class prep ;)

Timetable (for activities)- having a structure. So with me: I work on my Islaamic Studies Diploma from 7-8.30pm, Saturday is prep for class etc. and sticking to it!

Chillin' eating out, winding down, recharging your body, socialising with your nearest and dearest.

That's all I could think of.

Ooh and baking. So therepeutic and relaxing alhamdulillah plus you have cake at the end which is always a bonus

Anyways keep work at work, don't bring it home with you and this is something you'll have to learn over time. It'll take effort but consciously don't bring work home at all, whenever you start thinking of it mentally/consciously change the subject in your head and tell yourself you're not at work if that maketh sense.

Leave work at work, and your home/rest of your life/day is yours don't talk about work to people or let them do work talk with you alright.

                Same I'm like most days.
It's just allocating time to people (as bad as that sounds) or focusing on the things that really matter and dropping the other things until you get into a routine.
Don't forget you need breathing space as well.

You allocate all your time to us ;)
My Lord sanctify my flawed heart
As You have sanctified Your house,
Make my heart as protected and as honoured
                    In which permission of entry
Is only granted to a few,
                    Please Allah, allow my heart
To be preserved only for You.

when I don't know, if I will ever see you again
In Jannah, we will meet

Please try to keep up the Islamic classes sis, you will find them so rewarding. Beware of falling into the trap of work taking over your life...

I was always taught to aim for 8 hours work, 8 hours sleep and 8 hours ibadah each day. The ibadah part can be interpreted in its widest sense, so as well as salah, reciting Qu'ran, studying etc, it would include all time spent doing halal things like cooking for the family, helping others, etc.
Allah is so Great and Merciful that although we continue to disobey Him, He still awaits for our repentance so that He may forgive us.

                              Work PT if possible.

Then which of the favors of your Lord will ye deny?

You are not here just to fill space or to be a background character in someone else's movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you. We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.
