        use a hammer and hit the keema on the top and then turn on oven and throw them inside.

                      Does it have any name in your language/culture? Or they just saw it somewhere and asked you to make it?

                        Sister your description sounds very vague how can we figure it out without a few more pointers? Okay a couple of clues would be nice such as;

                        - do you know the country of origin where this dish originates from (or where the cook came from who first served this dish to you)?

                        - what else was in this dish aside from keema?

                        - what did the finished dish look like and what was it served with?

                        I'm guessing it wasn't dolmas (grape leaves stuffed with keema)

                          yh thats exactly wats happened ^ but its similar to the kebab mixture , then in stead of making balls you lay the whole thing in the tray like cake mixture....

                            We call it kheema cake (qeema nu lagan/pudding in gujjji :o)

                            basically what we do is, cook mince meat with all usual spices then cool it down, after that add eggs in it (for 250gms mince we use 8 eggs), mix it well, it will be like a cake batter, after that add in it coriander chopped and green garlic chopped (or any dry herbs you prefer), mix again.

                            Now prepare the cake tin: warm up the cake tin, add ghee in it so it melts and greases the base and sides of the tin, now pour this mixture in the tin and bake it :)

                            ones its baked/hardened , take it out, cut into cake slices, squeeze lemon on it and enjoy :up:

                              meatloaf

                              you mix keema with onions, seasoning, and like an egg or two. you shape it into a loaf of break and bake it in the oven. time and temp depending on your oven
