  • Why eating camels is allowed?

    In Judaism, it's banned.

In few countries, and even in US, camel killing is not allowed.

I would like to know, why eating camel is allowed in Islam?

And if any of you ever ate, how it was?

    Thanks

eating camel is not banned in the US, where did you hear that from? It's an ungulate animal and is not a carnivore, nor has it been deemed uncleaned, so there is no reason for it to be haram. But why do you worry about this?

You are not here just to fill space or to be a background character in someone else's movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you. We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.

Well we're not Jews, so it's cool.
It's nice, somewhere between cow and goat.

Exotic Meats USA, is a Nevada based company that raises, butchers and sells camel meat so it is in fact legal. It would make no sense to allow buffalo, rattlesnake, aligator but not camel.

I've had ostrich once, now that's some nice meat,... was before I was Muslim though, so I have no clue whether or not it's Halal

rattlesnkae and alligator are in peoples backyards.. camel is super exotic for americans.. its kind of taboo. just like some peoplein morocco eat cows feet but would be digusted by blood sausage or something..

also sometimes what people think is out of this world.. uique.. etc.. people automatically assume its illegal.. like peacock a person might say.. we eat pigeon, chicken and quail, why so crazy looking becase i eat peacock"

i would have googly eyes and be shocked if i saw someone eat a lion. a zebra... i was even shocked when i saw these people in peru eating guinea pigs .... if i ate a hamster or guinea pig someone would arrest me for animal cruelty..

so be nice to my brain being that i thought it was illegal.. i know it made no sense to you but it did to me ...... tear.. ok.. cool.. ty for the fact though
