    my brother is trying to

you have to think outside the box

    be prepared to take risks

know u will face a lot of hardships and losses

    its a tough road

thats why most of us dont do it, cos we are safe in our 9-5 jobs

      Some good advice :jkk:

That's the thing I don't want play it safe and merely exist, I want to actually live. If I have to take a few risks that's cool.

I would say continue with your studies and then decide. What if the new business idea doesn't work? You need something to fall back on and with the economy the way that it is, it's more risky to take big risks.

No no, she's doing the right thing. Too many people are happy in their 9-5 comfort zone.

Rainbow I say go for it. If it don't work out then qadrAllah and you can say you tried and not have that lingering 'what if' behind you. this kinda attitude is what is needed. Too many peeps are stuck in their comfort zones an still complain. Go for it! Even tho I don't quite understand the question @ self-made.

                            Re: Making the self

Just know to become 'self' made, you have to give up a lot! And I'm not just talking about not sleeping for two days straight, and only eating the once in those two days. You miss weddings, family occasions, see family very rarely etc. As a future mother, could you do this? Can you find a husband who would be supportive in you being at the forefront of your own business, meeting non-mahram men, spending a lot of time away from the children? A mother not being there as much compared to a father is no comparison, the children would miss their father etc but they'd be lost without their mother moreso than without their father.
