  • Taraweh or Fajr?

    :salams

I'm finding it impossible to wake up for fajr after taraweh, thinking of leaving taraweh in order to pray fajr

    any suggestions?

If you fear missing fajr due to taraweeh. Then the best is to skip taraweeh, because taraweeh is optional and fajr is fard. And fard always takes precedence over the optional

im not too bothered about missing sehri

staying up is not the real deal its like cheating, plus don't want to waste 3 hours doing nothing

Do you live alone? Why not have a friend call you?

Sehri carries spiritual reward, so it's not just eating food to get through the day. You should wake up for that, even if one glass of water.

Tarawee is a confirmed Sunnah, as well.
Secure few moments, everyday, to reflect upon the innumerable blessings of Allah and thank Him for bestowing them upon you.

"A person who is blessed with the ability to be grateful, shall never be deprived of barakah and increase in blessings."
            - Rasulullah (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)‎

If it is so hard for you you should go to bed early instead of praying taraweeh and pray Tahajjud instead for it is better and then you have a little breakfast pray fajr and go to bed :D
