  • Stop the good & bad will start

Why is that: Our eyes easily get ready to watch the forbidden but efforts are needed to lower them in obedience to Allah (swt). The fluent tongue doesn't get tired of gheebah, rude & ill talk but training is needed to develop stamina for polite & useful talk. Feet are ready to go to cinema, but have to be brought to masjid. Alert Ears wouldn't mind hours of gheebah, gossips & songs but immediately loses concentration & gets bored of few minutes of hadith lessons/Quran recitation, causing drowsiness. (unless these organs are trained to develop a taste for the good). Moreover, a mind itself loses hope by pondering upon negative thoughts but motivation is developed through inculcation of positive thoughts & ignoring the negative ones.

Because, good is earned & bad itself immediately takes initiative once good is stopped. If a farmer stops the efforts of cultivating crops, useless weeds & insects wouldn't need invitation. Construction requires years while destruction requires no time. Relationships are built through a lot of mutual good acts but they are ruined in seconds of few bad acts. The moment a man stops spreading good, he can't stop himself from getting influenced by the bad, as darkness would itself invade the heart that doesn't strive for the light.
Read not to contradict and confute, not to believe and take for granted, not to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider. Inhale positive, exhale negative

        mashaALLAH.

        excellent reminder.

        :jkk:

Someone once said to me that you are either an inviter or being invited, there's nothing in the middle.(yes it was a tablighi brother!) and it's true. If we aren't active in truth then falsehood automatically begins its effects.
Rajab is a month of cultivation, Shaban is month of irrigating the fields, and the month of Ramadhan is a month of reaping and harvesting.”
