  • Out of all the discussions....

that we have in our daily life, at home, in offices, in journeys, in parties and in different meetings/ gatherings, what is more valuable can be judged by the following hadith:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Umme Habibah (r.a) has reported Rasulullah (saw) as saying that anything uttered by a person becomes his own burden. Nothing is beneficial, except ordering good or prohibiting evil or remembering & praising Allah (swt). After hearing this Hadith, a person remarked that it was very severe. Sufian Thauri (rah.) said, "What to say of the severity of this Hadith, Allah (swt) Himself has said in the Qur’an:

"People’s whispering and tale bearing is often devoid of good, except of those who encourage others to be
charitable, virtuous or to have improved mutual relationship; and whosoever does this for the pleasure of Allah, We shall grant him immense rewards shortly. (An-Nisaa: 114)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

p.s. I remember some people who in every discussion & presentations used to come up with an aspect of that subject that relates it to Allah (swt) and even the non-Muslim audience didn't realize that they have been effectively given dawah with wisdom, by the grace and mercy of Allah (swt). Because those pious people knew that there is no barakah in meetings/discussions where Allah (swt) is not mentioned/praised/thanked.

InshaAllah I would start with: Alhamdulillah!! All praises for the Almighty who blessed us with all the blessings!
Read not to contradict and confute, not to believe and take for granted, not to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider. Inhale positive, exhale negative
