  • prayer difference?

Selam dear brothers and sisters, i have a quick question. I go mostly to a Arab massjid in my town, and there they don't do the sunnah prayers, they do the fard prayers and thats it. But when i go to a Turkish mosque they pray the Sunnah prayers. So what is the correct way to do it.(i know and always do the 2 rakah when entering the massjid)

It is Sunnah to pray the nawafil prayers at home.

Zaid bin Thabit (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "O people! perform your (voluntary) Salat (prayers) in your homes because the best Salat of a man is the one he performs at home, except the obligatory Salat.''

Sunnah Muakkadah aught to be prayed, sadly we have many Muslims neglecting it ...

even the Nafl prayer is Neglected by many Muslims, they neither pray this at the Mosque, Nor at Home (which is better for them to Pray at)

you dont need to pray sunnah prayers in the masjid, theres a hadith of which the Prophet (saw) would return home for Sunnah prayers..

but whichever way your still praying them
♥ ♥ Be mindful of Allaah, and Allaah will protect you. Be mindful of Allaah and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allaah; if you seek help. Seek help of Allaah. Know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with something that Allaah had already prescribed for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with anything, they would harm you only with something Allaah had already prescribed for you. like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
