What i did say:

Read a good book Non religious or sociology.

Religious books tend to make feel guilty that you done something wrong. Hence you can get more depressed thinking that you are not good anough to relieve yourself.


Sociology, more or less does samething to us: feel impotent to approch on better way our life. Wich can make things worse. Our hormones is only, temporary Andrenal work. If we can stay calm and winn this moments, we overpower and become victorious, and next time we know what to do and how to control and resist our impulses.

I was reading about ways to contol the nafs a few days ago. Of what i can remember is :

Get married young - if u cant do that then:

fast
take cold showers in summer
Do Istinja with cold water ( ooo thats painful)
Cut down on spicey food
cut down on meat

I think about women alot myself, but Alhamdulillah I'm an akward bumbling mess around women if I like them, so I don't do anything I'm not supposed to. I play video games alot, surf the internet, do my school work, and I don't go out much except to school or Masjid, so I avoid 'Free Mixing'.
