  • The Tree & the Soul story

The strength of a tree's stem is dependent upon the dissolved nutrients absorbed by it's roots. The better the quantity & quality of nutrients frequently provided, stronger would be its stem and higher would be the quality of the fruits that grow on it's branches. Otherwise it would look like this:

The stem of one's soul is strengthened by the spiritual nutrients it gets from the pool of religious gatherings. The better the quantity & quality of the nutrients (knowledge) absorbed by the soul, the stronger would be it's stem (character) and hence better quality fruits (reward) would result (in heaven):

Without getting spiritual fuel from religious gatherings how can one expect the machinery of ones deeds to perform well and get good quality product in the heaven ? Environment and company matters. i.e. why it is easier to fast during Ramadan compared to any other month.

      Jazak'Allah khair :(
Al-Ghazali said, "If you see Allah, Mighty and Magnificent, holding back this world from you, frequently trying you with adversity and tribulation, know that you hold a great status with Him. Know that He is dealing with you as He does with His Awliya' and chosen elite, and is watching over you, have you not heard His saying, "So wait steadfastly for the judgment of your Lord - you are certainly before Our eyes.[At-Tur 52:48]
