Got a not so good voice

Assalaamu alaykum.

So we got to make some screencast at uni record our voices and talk. I've never really heard my voice before but am quite disappointed, i sort of got quite a boring voice.

Am just wondering is it possible to trains ones voice or something, like how do qaari's have such great voices ?

Actually Qaari have great voices as they recite Quran with tajweed and Qiraah.And I have tried myself too that after reading for a while your voice becomes far better and pleasant.

Yeah put your head in a big pot and practice for sometime. Should be Okay. You can drink Honey lemon or something to clear your throat.

brother it can be improved insha'Allah but needs practice, most of the time the trouble comes in quality when we inhale via mouth and exhale via nostrils reverse or keep them on their essential track, then you will find betterment.
and like Thajweed-where we produce words from their specific areas with intonations, the rise and fall, so you can apply the same in your language.

Me, i've got a deep voice - some would say that is good, some would say it's bad ....

Thats the point. No voice is bad voice in my opinion. Every voice is unique.

Are we talking about recitation voice or normal voice?

I listen to my normal talking voice and it just sounds weird. Most people must get that reaction from their own voice though?
Anyway alhamdulillah so I've been told several times at work I have a great voice, which is bemusing. Moral: you can't judge your own voice and at the end of the day (I sound like a footballer lol) it's what you say that matters. Nobody has a horrible voice though? Only some whiney women with high pitched voice. I could punch them lol

I am not a guy...
Both in recitation and normal voice, my voice sounds like of other person. When I talk, I don't hear my voice being the same as when it is recorded. I wish I like my voice but I just find it weird. I was never able to sing though. But :alhumdull Allah blessed me with other things, I guess we can't have all right?
