Yeah I figured to put the rope through when I got it.

But the loop was stitched so that the rope couldn't go all the way around. I can cut that, I suppose. I wasn't sure though.

Yes you can cut that bit. Sometimes the tailor has sewn it for some reason then you just snip it and thread the elastic through the waist as above ^.

They are supposed to be big. When worn properly, that's what makes them baggy

You can use elastic or just like a rope-type thing.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah.

I bought a mens shalwar kameez from online a while ago, but I never wore it because I dont know how to wear the pants. They are VERY big! And I have no idea how to "tie" them (keep them on). lol. I thought at first to put string around it somehow, but there is stitching in the loops that prevent that. I'm just confused. If anyone could help, that'd be lovely.
