hahaha. Sorry.
Yeah I figured to put the rope through when I got it.
But the loop was stitched so that the rope couldn't go all the way around. I can cut that, I suppose. I wasn't sure though.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah.
I bought a mens shalwar kameez from online a while ago, but I never wore it because I dont know how to wear the pants. They are VERY big! And I have no idea how to "tie" them (keep them on). lol. I thought at first to put string around it somehow, but there is stitching in the loops that prevent that. I'm just confused. If anyone could help, that'd be lovely.
