they made fun that you cant make fun of prophet (saws), so thats making fun of him, but what can you do, they have made fun of Allah since we werent even born, you cant control it, they are the ones who are losing

Won't we be responsible for it too, for not doing anything?
Secure few moments, everyday, to reflect upon the innumerable blessings of Allah and thank Him for bestowing them upon you.

well I know we should not sit by and let people blaspheme, but thats maybe in muslim countries where Islam is established and nobody commits blasphemy, and then if there is anyone that does it they have broken the law and its easily controlled, but in non-muslim countreis they have been blasphemeing against God and prophets and religions for as long as they existed. Just as you are supposed to protect the honor of the prophet (saws) so you must do so with Allah, even more so., but nobody complains when people insult God, do you know how many jokes are about God every day, can you complain about each of them, we would in fact not be able to do anything else except protest against every blasphemous movie, joke etc. So its impossible, which is why you let Allah deal with them because the one who does that are astray, and thats the worst part, they are loosing, they cannot harm Allah nor the prophets

p.s. its in a way a distraction for muslims to do that, just think of the many protests that happened. According to Islam we are not to draw images of any of the prophets, but there is a statue of Moses in white house and nobody complained about that. So you see, its just trying to provoke muslims and muslims are falling for this even though people blaspheme about God and other prophets all the time

We should, at least, denounce it through peaceful means. I'm not saying death threats are good way to go.
But, let's use this freedon of speech now.

well of course, Allah said not to sit on the same table when people are blasphemeing against Allah. But what can you do, if muslims want to write a statement or do something denouncing this behavoiur, what do you think that will acheive? do you really think these people "will take pity and say oh poor muslims were hurting their feelings so we will stop", of course not, the sensible people do not talk hate or provoke people

then the other route "death threats" is obviously haram as you cant take law to your own hands, so what is left for you to do other than "change the table"

freedom of speech should have boundaries, no insulting other peoples beliefs, no racism, no hate. Then its ok to say what you think. Why is freedom of speech used to justify being rude. Everything you want to say can be said in rational sincere manner without insults

I agree with this. We can tell them we don't like it when they put our Prophets in cartoons, but that should be it. It's a peaceful reaction. Instead, we have extremists issuing death threats against offensive things.

Seriously, for those who support active retaliation against these kind of things, what do you think of something like this:
Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake up do we realize something was actually strange.

                  You made all good points.

These people won't stop even if we write a statement or something.

oh come on, that is obviously fake. I have seen many images manipulated and changed hte text of placards

this is such a bad manipulation anyway, you can see the color change from BEHEAD TH.....then OSE WHO SAY ISLAM IS VIOLENT is lighter shade. And the reason they wrote their own OSE is to use the same S on the rest of the text to make it look like the same writing. Though i dont understand why they didnt jsut change the whole text

Why behave nice or show sabr or act sunnah way when kuffar insult our religion but no sunnah acting when muslim talks offensive towards younot the religion
                        Reported by Ibn al-Salah:

You should act Sunnah when someone is offensive towards you, muslim or non-muslim.

Not an option. They're just think "Hmm, check this guy (Islam) out...you slap him in the face and he just sits there and takes it. Let's do it agaaain!".

Good on the boy who got suspended. Teaches him and his likes a lesson. High 5 to the muslim girl.
Yeah, loonietoonie, you're really a bad person. Why on earth did the boy deserve to get suspended? He was mentioning the Taliban in a video game; it just so happened that some Muslim girl overheard him and beyond overreacted.

Obviously, if the boy WAS calling the girl names, she should have told somebody, but to get him suspended when he wasn't even talking about her? What are YOU talking about?

                              You're crazy.
