    Daily review if you've memorized-
1.Between 1-3 juz, you should review five pages daily.
2.Between 4-7 juz you should review 10 pages (which equals half the juz) daily.
3.Between 7-15 juz, you should review 20 pages (which equals one juz) daily.
    4.Between 15-20 juz, you should review 30 pages(which equals 1.5 juz) daily.
5.Between 20-30 juz, you should review 60 pages (which equals 2 juz) daily.

There's more information on memorizing and reviewing newer lessons as well as older taken from here: http://muslimmatters.org/2012/07/29/...-for-the-weak/

                  Neither was I.
You know when I learned how to read Arabic? About 6-9 months before I started hifz. :rotfl:
Seriously. I'm talking 'alif' 'ba' 'ta'. :rotfl:

I never learned how to properly read Arabic and was only taking some lessons to learn how to read properly with tajweed. After/while learning I had to re-learn the Surah's I knew from Juz Amma, then my teacher encouraged me to finish learning Juz Amma. After that I loved it so much I committed to learn as much as Allah would allow me to learn in hopes that it's the entirety of His Quran.

If you feel at all inclined towards it, give it a go. What you are able to complete will be up to Allah . Ask Him for help and He will make it easy for you :insha: . :)

A competition in hifz would be really rewarding, I mean how about competing in Hifz?
Nice idea, isn't it? There used to be nice discussion in this thread till last year, I wish it would start again !

Yes, a competition is good for those who have a competitive spirit!
I completely lack the competitive gene though and will rather see someone else win than myself. ha ha

How many ajza do you have brother?

I do hope this thread picks up as well. It's a nice reminder and motivation :alhumdull .
