Prophet (saw) said "Khalid bin Waleed! On the basis of your intelligence, understanding and foresight I was very hopeful that one day you would finally accept Islam."
He (saw) when inquired about the Suhaba's qualities before Islam. They replied;
1. We used to be patient in times of trouble. (without blaming anyone for our tragedies)
2. We always remained thankful in all circumstances.
3. We never ran away from battle fields (even after facing a defeat).
4. We never rejoiced the loss/tragedy/pain of even our worst enemies.
5. We always remained contented with whatever nature threw our way.
After becoming Muslim, they never rejoiced defeating enemies/ conquering lands. Their joyful & emotional voices of " ALLAH-O-AKBAR" echoed in distances after anyone became Muslim (& hence was saved from hell)
