GP = A general practitioner or GP is a medical practitioner who provides primary care and specializes in nothing and sees everything.

They're also known as Family Doctors.

Strange that family doctors exist when they're uneducated, when they're not specialised. The safest thing is to go a specialised doctor..

I have a wisdom tooth comin out and the pain is driving me mad went to the dentist last week she said its an infection so she gave me antibiotics i finished the antibiotics today but its made no difference, my face is swollen. i've tried everything clove oil, tcp and i've taken so many pain killers the pain goes for about 20mins but comes back. I've got another dentist appointment tomorrow but i went to doctors today cos my face was swollen she worried me she said it cant be my wisdom cos they arent supposed to be this painful but everyone i've spoken to says u get severe pain with wisdoms should i be worried could it be something else.

did she give you metronidazole as the antibiotics? or just amoxycillin?

do you have trouble opening ur mouth? and where abouts is ur mouth swollen?

and it can be REALLY bad, and it can make ur face swell
