Re: Menstruating women entering the mosque to listen to the khutbah

I had this question during ramadan last year when me and a sister disagreeded big time on this topic. As you know ramadan is great time to atten masjid and in the spirit its really tough to tear oneself from attending at night time due to menstruation. Honestlly it is the only time i attend regular masjid & felt great.

I looked in to this lil bit (i am far from knowedgable on this topic) most "masjid" in west are not true masjid as they don't fit the description of masjid but rather a gathering of muslims. Also the masjid committe will be able to idenitfy which area is part of masjid and whihc isn't. Most masjid have restroom & hallways, which in general are not part of masjid.

I wish masjids will post a layout at the entrance to idenitfy where a sis can go and where she can't.
