Im a Beautician and Hairdresser.... and also have some info on fashion.. Just thought I would start a post
for all sisters looking For any ADVICE on Beauty....
whats the best Hair colour?
best foundation?
best look that suits me?
best place 2 buy skinny jeans or a nice shalwar kameez?

i'd rather my wife looked natural and did not have gunk on her face. Her fashion sense should be modest and not all glitz and glamour so she attracts a crowd when she goes out. So to answer your question:-

Natural Hair colour if hair dye is needed then use of henna is permissible.
No Foundation, there is no such thing as a flawless look.
The look that is in accordance to the Sunnah
No Skinny Jeans or Shalwar Kameez for my wife, just modest clothing that covers her awrah.

i have some advice for sisters too and you can confirm it for me if you know it to be true.

if you do use make-up, dont use so much on a daily basis because the chemicals used in make-up speeds up the ageing process and then u'll find you want to put more and more on over time just to cover up.

it would really depend on the type of foundation and how heavy you put it on
oh and skin care under you makeup is very important

If you dye your hair with chemicals and transition to henna, beware..they usually say wait until the chemically treated hair has grown out..but you can take a risk turning your hair green :D or do a strand test

dyeing hair, dont panic if it does go green, wash it through with ketchup will neutralise it. hahaha, watch ya, it works ;)

as for best foundation mac, like you got nothing on.

tis true dont wear it al the time and always wash it off throughly, pores in faces need air to breath and make up covers and clogs pores, helping bacteria cause spots and make spots alreadi there worse.

wats the ruling on beautifying oneself when going outside to work or do the shopping or picking the children up etc etc?
