    assalamu alaikum

    im a gym freshie

    is strength required for stamina?


    im gnna do rowing and treadmill but any point doing bench presses n stuff? all i really want is disgustingly high stamina. i mean DISGUSTINGLY HIGH STAMINA.


    not fussed one single bit bout muscle lol

    that's all im really after too not done anything for like 1 month tho besides stomach crunches every night for a bit o shape.

    i used to run and bike a lot stopped going to the gym cuz of all the scantly clad women

      ^ yeh only reason i joined this gym is coz its 24 hours bro, i can go wen all those nasties are asleep lol (like after fajr :p)

        muscles aint required for stamina, bro why dun you join a martial arts club?

          nah u dont need strength to build stamina. im the weakest of the weak n built up my stamina enough that i was able to run/jog on the treadmill for 3 miles straight without stopping. i havent been to the gym since before ramadan n now i find myself huffin n puffin just runnin for the bus. the key is to keep it up n push urself a little bit more everytime.

            if you want stamina, you have to do cardio...but im no expert on cardio i just do weight training with very little cardio

                Bench presses will help you with stamina because it makes your chest bigger

                          yup breathing exercises (or any exercise related to chest & lungs) do increase stamina

                            You Tie a parachute to your waist, and then you run against the wind...It builds stamina and speed..but you need an open field to do it and you have to go to a sports store to buy the parachute

                              abu rambo... best thing to do is just buy a treadmill for home if u wanna avoid the fitnah. saying that, we've got one, n i never use it loooool.
