  • Recommended Reciter to do Hifz with?

Yes, which reciter do you prefer or recommend to do hifz(memorization) with?
Atm, I'm using Mishary and Saad al ghamdi. I dont know if its a good idea to use 2 different recitors:/. I think its best to stick with one but i feel sometime if one of em recite the surah in a way i dont really like i switch back and forth. Will that confuse me?

Any hifz out there got any comments on this? Who do you listen to when ur trying to memorize?

Sheikh Mahmod Khalil Al Hosary, the clearest of all reciters, his tajweed is fixed.

I haven't done hifz, but recitations by Sheikh Maher Al Muaiqly seem to stick in my head

He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers. [Quran {33:43}]

Perhaps you may see it that way; however, these are some of the ones that Qur'an teachers highly recommend.

بارك الله فيكم وجزاكم الله خيرا

              السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarreling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 4782)

                Very good tajweed here:

                Ahmed al-Trabulsy - http://english.islamway.com/sindex.p...w_a=view&id=15
"Allah's choicest people are those whom His fear has driven to absolute silence although they are neither helpless nor dumb. Rather they are possessors of eloquence and have power to speak and sense to understand. But constant glorification of Allah's name has so overpossessed their wits that their hearts are overawed and their lips sealed. When they get established in this stage they hasten towards righteoussness."
