Never had mint tea so I can't help you. Sorry.

I wouldn't know. I never tried it when I went to do ummrah. We stuck with normal tea which I bought at the shopping centre.

Some tea bags, liptop or green tea. The strong tea bags aren't the best. Some mint leaves. I believe that's all. I also put some cinnamon sticks.

na3 na3, or na' na'...thats just the word for mint in arabic...

            the moroccan way:
            a tea pot-
a table spoon of chinese 'gunpowder' :S its just these small dried seeds/leaves
            a bunch of mint leaves
            and sugar to preference
boil water and pour into teapot and put to simmer over stove...

arabs of the middle-east tend to as insanebro said use teabags instead of the stuff we use...ill get the proper name for it tomorrow inshaAllah, it comes in tins that you can usually get at algerian butchers and they even sell it in Whittards :)

oh, you all use Chinese Gunpowder. These are available from most Halal shops. I once used it, but I didn't much care for it. However I might have to try it with mint leaves. Jazaak Allaahu Khair for the info. Much appreciated.

                Easy way?

Boil some water, throw in plenty of mint leaves and leave the water on the boil until the water goes reasonably greeny...

You have yourself a nice healthy infusion.

Toss in some honey, and you're done.

worth the name, someone to love and someone to love you,
a cat, a dog, and a pipe or two, enough to eat and enough to wear,
and a little more than enough to drink; for thirst is a dangerous thing."

Sounds easy enough :) Usually, I just throw a peppermint in my mouth and have a regular cup of tea and bam! mint tea
