It's an odd question... We all find different things appealing.
When it comes to things like this, as long as the spouses are okay with it between themselves and it isn't haraam, makrooh or harmful, it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks, tbh.

Sometimes it's the (valid, imho) concern that it's imitation of kuffaar and people known to be involved in immorality, but agreed, sometimes it's just a case of being overbearing.

I used to find the monroe/madonna piercings that women get, the ones right above the lip on one side, attractive. But now I just find it all trashy.
