I don't remember the quote exactly but it was something like this:

Work hard with such tranquility that your success creates an uproar.

    Ali ibn Abi Talib

But the west is destroying itself from the inside, a cancer that is rotting it, whether the Muslims wake up or not

This rot is because of its immorality, LGBT, transgender children, Secularism Atheism Hedonism, abortion, free sex, pornography, dissolution of marriage and family structure and foundation, oppression, cronyism, nepotism, love of dunya, Most of all its disbelief and disobedience to Allah (which this ummah is also suffering from)

Soon it will be a rotten corpse, that a small breeze can destroy

We must be that small breeze, but we cannot if we are not strong in our Islam, if we do not love Allah, this deen, the sunnah more than we love ourselves, our parents, our culture, our desires

This is why nations will come together and attack you like being invited to a dinner, and their success is a humiliation to this ummah until we return to our religion

So as long as we bicker, fight, alter our religion, we are destined to remain in this woeful state

And sadly, the ummah is too short sighted in its individual viewpoints to see the larger picture, whether that is globally or locally
        Thanks for the response

The US/NATO/West generally gives 2 options to other countries:

Hubb ul dunya - incentives, luxury, aid etc

Karahat ul mawt - invasions, military threats, coups etc

Those who oblige are made to stay

Those who deny are dealt with force

They still feared Muslims when Muslims were bickering and fighting each other.

Although, altering religion is definitely a point to be considered as it is catalyst for other problems.

But we should also note that a mujaddid is raised every century to correct alterations of any kind.

So removal of " r'ub " is linked with placement of " wahn "

          If west rots ...
          east may take over.

If East rots.. west may take over

          As ummah wasata ,
the aim is to strike a balance between the sharqiyyah and gharbiyyah

The early Muslims did not destroy but transformed.

          The result was golden age

Destruction can be seen in the Mongol invasion

The result was end of golden age

The Muslims should not intend to replace west domination but rather they should seek to maintain balance and order.

The west says they are maintaining order but dominate.
So they say they are salihun but actually are mufsidun.

When the rider came with the message of victory at qasidiyyah , caliph Umar ran behind him asking for news as to what happened? The rider replied while riding his horse not able to realise the questioner was caliph that Allah has given victory to the Muslims

Caliph Umar started crying and fell prostrate on the ground thanking and praising Allah

                The deeds are by intentions

The world is temporary and not meant for domination because when someone dominates some one else is dominated against.

So Islam dominates even though the disbelievers may hate

Whereas the 'aaqibah is for the muttaquun.

The mention of unity/khilafa is basically a death sentence in Muslim countries. It won't be easy to undo and it'll take a lot of sacrifice but it'll happen eventually. May Allah grant us with a united ummah.. Ameen.
there's more groups than that. I doubt very many muslim leaders would be ok with the caliph being from some muslim group they see as deviant. I mean just look at how people will call out respected scholars as deviant for some minor thing

I remember when Iraq was totally secular then it became a center of Islamic jihad
Same with Afghanistan, and even Palestine. these countries were not thinking of Islam for long time, it only takes Allah to change hearts, and major changes happen

We dont know what or when anything can happen, that is solely up to Allah, but what we can do is correct our Islam, work with each other to strengthen and correct our Islam

That is one aspect that i think ummah.com and the internet, in general can be used for

Also, offline actions, but not token gestures but real meaningful applications of Islam and removing bida and cultural deviances
I mean, it took a lifetime for the islamic empire to start and longer for it to grow. I don't think it is wise to be delusional about how things can happen. The early muslims did well because they were progressive and made efforts to make good systems. Now we are more interested in LARPing about the past rather than finding real solutions to our issues.

that would be nice, mostly just to be free of foreign interference and have some stability.

                    Yes

Without outside interference , internal matters can be better resolved as greater understanding can be reached for social welfare.

That leads to peace and stability

And it would allow the people to make optimum utilisation of their oil and gas and trade routes for economic purposes.

This gives way to happiness and prosperity for the region.

A courageous and smart leader is required :
given the Muslims are at a backfoot (economically, politically, militarily, scientifically)
The courage would enable him to oppose ill-practices of West/East politically.
And smartness would enable him to use East and West against each other using diplomacy.

I read that sultan Abdul Hamid ii did something similar with colonial powers of his time.

There is actually another point that quite many of us do not seem to think of and that is that Allah ta'ala has created Asbab (means) trough which we can achieve things and He jalla jalaluhu has Sunan (ways) in creating things.

The mean that I'm intending here is to have advanced weapons and a strong army. In order to have this one needs technological advancement. We seem to have completely forgotten that this plays a huge role in being able to fight one's enemies.

Allah in His great wisdom has bestowed different people with different abilities.

                            Some are given intellectual/military/technological etc
whereas others may get resources/minerals/geostrategic location etc

So all people when they look at themselves and realise their strengths and weakness would find that the other side lacks in something that they have.

Identifying and utilising one's strengths to overcome one's weaknesses in solving the problem has been the way of many nations.

One can try to balance between the spiritual and the material.

I think you are saying that one should use the means/asbab to the 'best of his ability' by employing the 'availaible resources' with 'optimization'.

                              Yes agree to that.
