Like masjids, families, friends... those sorts of things?
masjids dont automatically help people
imams arent the same as ibn qayyims time half of them dont know about how to help peoples health
its about having imams who can actuallt councel/ give therapy or have some expertise in pyschology

You're not really doing a good job of challenging those notions AA, I'm afraid.
Put something out there for people to latch on to as well - like what mental health issues for instance. Are we talking GAD and depression? Bipolar? Personality disorders? PTSD/C-PTSD?
I'd say that while Mental health isn't ignored in Islam, it's definitely ignored by a % of Muslims - sometimes from cultural ignorance or just ignorance-ignorance.

Then we agree. Mental health is not ignored in Islam.
% of Muslims is irrelevant - only the knowledgeable ones matter.
Just a quick search, there's a fair amount of stuff available but I guess since mental health is quite a buzzword and contemporary issue in the mainstream (more people are aware of the issues) more Muslims are seeking the Islamic approach.
*disclaimer: I haven't read thoroughly the links or watched any of the videos, i'm just pasting what i've found in 5 minutes*
Alhamdulilah there are a growing number of Muslim counsellors and psychologists, you could argue that it is being ignored by the ignorant individuals in our community who have yet to accept and understand invisible illnesses and impairments.
Let our generations be the one to change that, yes, the Qur'an is shifaa AND we also have the means to fix mental health issues medically and psychologically, be it a consistent amount of therapy with professionals, medication etc.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’an: ‘Read, and ascend, and recite as you used to recite in the [previous] world, for your status will be according to the last verse that you recite.’” [At-Tirmidhi (2914) and Abu Dawood (1464)]

Which invisible illness is being ignored and by who give an example.
One individual ignoring something doesn't mean the community is ignoring mental health issues

It isn't hard to believe that we've got a few in our communities, mainly those from the generations that have yet to understand mental health, the severity of it and treatment management. That is due to ignorance and Allah knows best.
Mental health AND neurological conditions that some individuals mail fail to recognise include, Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia, OCD, ADHD etc. Just to name a few.
We aren't disregarding the fact that our communities are certainly more enlightened and aware of mental health issues, we have made alot of progress, however, we are not where we want to be, yet.

I think mental health should be a separate topic in discourses at the same time to go in depth and have more increased awareness on the matter. Maybe lack of exposure.
Like psychology yes is necessary like Abu Julaybeeb mentioned earlier.
with increasing cases of mental health.
Allah Subḥānahu wa-taʿālā has mentioned in the Quran in chapter Surah Al-Ahzab:21 There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
