Just a quick search, there's a fair amount of stuff available but I guess since mental health is quite a buzzword and contemporary issue in the mainstream (more people are aware of the issues) more Muslims are seeking the Islamic approach.

Put something out there for people to latch on to as well - like what mental health issues for instance. Are we talking GAD and depression? Bipolar? Personality disorders? PTSD/C-PTSD?
I'd say that while Mental health isn't ignored in Islam, it's definitely ignored by a % of Muslims - sometimes from cultural ignorance or just ignorance-ignorance.
% of Muslims is irrelevant - only the knowledgeable ones matter.

Mental Health is Not Ignored in Islam
The idea that mental health isn't given it's due attention in Islam or by Muslims is getting more and more popular.
This thread is to challenge that idea.Tags: None
