  • Halal Entertainment - is there something like halalflix?

    Selam together,
i have a question for you. What are you doing to entertain yourself?
I am speaking to people living (and were born & raised) in western world like Europe.

For example you come from work you eat something and then?
Normally I would watch TV or stream a (western) movie.
But the movies get more and more sexualized.
And to add more they try to show gay families and try to make it look normal.

When I watch movies from the country my parents came then there is not so much sexualization.
But still every movie is about love.

Sure some of you will say "I dont have a television" or that is haram.
But keep in mind that there are different eman levels of muslims.
You have to think of the perspective of someone who was born and raised there.

Sometimes when I come home I read an (entertaining) book.
Work is exhausting enough. (Office Job) I can't read a book which challenges me.
    So I just wanna relax.

You might say to read Quran. But after a hard work that might not be the best opportunity to relax.
Watching videos about islam is the same. I do that sometimes before going to sleep.

Assalamu Alaikum. Listening to Islamic lectures by certain Islamic speakers can be very entertaining. Naseeha Sessions on youtube and Sheikh Feiz's lectures on youtube and kalumullah.com are entertaining because they have interesting personalities and have a good way of delivering Islamic messages to the audience so that they won't get bored. You will also benefit from this in the akhirah in Shaa Allah, and it will increase your imaan and bring you more peace in the dunya. Muhammadi Films on youtube is also entertaining and has some movie like films, although it has some background nasheeds sometimes unfortunately.

                  Fear Allah سبحانه وتعالى

                  Allah سبحانه وتعالى said ...

                  Surah Al-Ma'idah : Ayah 2

"... Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment."

We are not allowed to help, encourage or promote Sin.

Allah عز و جل also says...

                  Surah An-Nahl : Ayah 25

"They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear!"

If you encourage, promote or mislead others to Sin, you will earn a share in the Sin likewise.

                  نعوذ بالله من ذلك

Wow typical retard who takes verses of the Quran completely out of context to try and subdue others. Must be feeling pretty smug and proud of yourself after posting that eh? You're a joke and you'll get what you deserve soon. I cant be bothered to argue back with stupidity.

Nothing was taken out of context.

                      1. We help each other in righteousness, not in sin.

                      2. If we misled others then we will be culpable/liable for punishment on the day of judgement.

                      Both from the glorious Qur'an.

You claimed a Haraam programme was Good, which is clearly misleading and false.

Onus is on you to prove otherwise.

So you have nothing but insults to support your argument.

May Allah عز و جل guide you.

Avoid replying back with insults, it just makes your failure worse.
