    Interpretation Surah Taha, Verse 124-126

Assalamulikum, does these verse of surah Taha means, any person who do not remember Allah S.W.T., have sadness in their heart?

What about the non-muslims? I see some of them enjoy this dunya.

    Jazakallah khair.

Allah has allowed the disbelievers to enjoy their time in the dunya this is Allahs rahma to them but in judgement day thats it for them hell for eternity according to the quran where as the believers Allah is ar rahman to them he gives them mercy and benefit in the dunya and akhira

You can see all of this if you read into the ibn kathir tafsir of bismillaahir rahmaaneer raheem

Also refer to ibn kathur tafsir for the verse of surah taha or any other tafsir availabale such as tafsir al qurtobi or tafsir at tabari

however ibn kathir is the most available one in english and online

        Jazakallah khair.
Here is the Tafsir of Ayah 124.

But whosoever turns away from My Reminder,

This means, "Whoever opposes my command and what I have revealed to My Messenger, then he has turned away from it, neglected it and taken his guidance from other than it."

verily, for him is a life of hardship,

meaning, his life will be hard in this world. He will have no tranquility and no expanding of his breast (ease). Rather, his chest will be constrained and in difficulty due to his misguidance. Even if he appears to be in comfort outwardly and he wears whatever he likes, eats whatever he likes and lives wherever he wants, he will not be happy. For verily, his heart will not have pure certainty and guidance. He will be in agitation, bewilderment and doubt. He will always be in confusion and a state of uncertainty. This is from the hardship of life.

        Concerning His statement,

and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.

Mujahid, Abu Salih and As-Suddi said,

"This means he will have no proof."

        Ikrimah said,

"He will be made blind to everything except Hell."

        This is as Allah says,

And We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf; their abode will be Hell. (17:97)

        This is why Allah says,

Allah عز و جل has spoken the truth without a doubt.

This verses basically mean that when the remembrance of Allah comes to a person that the person should remember Allah and not turn away or else that person will end up depressed.

Only by the remembrance of Allah عز و جل do hearts find peace/rest,

Otherwise this whole dunya is worthless pointless existence,
