i dont understand the antagonism / sarcasm / condescension. It was not a jibe, just the very casual way i wrote it.
Im an infrequent poster on the site, compared to your eminent experience, and as such my manner of writing may not be always correct.
Suffice it to say, in due course, if / when there is a post on this part of the forum, you can check it to see if it is appropriate. thats all i meant.
if you feel disrespect from myself, in this post or others, please excuse my manner, Im only trying to contribute. But from my side, I dont feel the love so to speak.
In any case, I apologise sincerely
    Jazak'Allah Khayr.

Then they are wrong too and i will take that up with them inshallah

they dont have to be charities

If any money being donated gets used for anything else = haram

edit - UWT do have methods to raise money for the admin side which is legit
Salam Alaikum, I have a concern about my fundraising activity now after reading your comment. I have a 100% donation policy in the sense that every penny that gets donated goes directly to the poor children and their families in Kabul, except for the GoFundMe processing fee and the Western Union fee (I send the donations via Western Union). These two fees are deducted using the charity funds. Would this be considered haram?

its strange cos people that would read the thread would have similar qs so if they're answered here then it's more neat and tidy like just taking one book out the library instead of ten...

but anyway i feel weirded out, you're being extra kind and I never understand AA anyway so very confused but ok I will carry on in the other thread iA
