Signs of the Quran - Astronomy

Mankind is a creation of the Almighty and has evolved independently from animals and other life forms (see B 3, Universe & Life). This is reflected in the embryology and phylogeny, as we see in B3. There is no fossil evidence for a steady evolution from apelike creatures, but there is a missing link and much more a de-evolution or degeneration form upright walking man to apes, see B3.

Man is travelling from stage to stage. From one stage of civilisation to the next, from moons to planets in space-travel and from one stage of existence to the next. Before birth is one stage, the life of this world comprising of childhood, adulthood and old age is the next and the after-world is the last.

Frequently, it is mentioned that certain prophets were taken up to the 1st (Jesus, peace be up on him), 5th (Moses, pbuh) or 7th (Mohammed, pbuh) heaven. Allah, the Almighty, is in the 7th heaven. Being in the grave and waiting for the day of judgement is yet another stage. In the mehrage, the ascension to the 7th heaven, Mohammed (pbuh) saw Moses (pbuh) praying in his grave, spoke with him in the 5th heaven and saw him praying in the 7th heaven again. So existence after death is polydimensional, physical, spiritual and eternal at once. The universe is polydimensional as several models of shape are suggested by scientists today based on latest observations and calculations.
