Would you sit next to Brelavi or Salafi on a journey

Imagine you are going on a journey and you have a chioce to sit next to a Sufi/Brelavi individual or a Saudi Salafi./Madkhali individual.

who would u choose for a pleasant productive journey?
"The objective behind Shari'ah is to liberate individuals from his desires in order to be a true Abd (slave) of Allah and that is the legitimate Maslaha... Violating the Shari'ah under the pretext of following Maqasid al-Shari'ah is like the one who cares about the spirit without the body and since the body without the spirit is useless therefore the spirit without the body is useless too." ~ Imam Shatibi - The greatest intellectual founder of Maqasid al-Shari'ah

    Salafi.

I don't view Barelvism as a form of Islam, same with Sufism.

I think it helps that I'm also Salafi lol, which is strange because most Pakistanis are Sufi. Guess my family is just different.

In that case a Salafi is preferred because at least they'd be more sane and be on the Sunnah, even though I'm not one to chat to strangers on journeys.

I will also consider going to bus roof for a pleasant journey, specially if the journey is towards northern areas.

You think you know more than my scholar's qiyās? He was more learned than you and all other scholars combined. Yeah, the devil was the greatest scholar too and look where his qiyās of fire being better than tīn got him. Sorry.

You follow your scholar's qiyās, and I will follow the Qur'ān and Sunnah.

I wouldbt hang out with a madhkali if i was in saudi, etc though. Dont want to get imprisoned for not praising their kings ew.

I'm not a fan of the rulers, nor of Abu Khadeejah. But it seems many people who say madkhalis don't have any idea about what they're talking about.

I would not say anything about Rabee until I read his books or fatawa.

You would have a good point if he was different from his followers, like the son of Mary(peace be upon both of them) is different from current day Christians. However, he is not. He does not condemn his followers, rather he is their teacher. They even got their bad manners from him.

    In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDaQUaatN0k:

    1) He says "between us and you is the salaf". According to him, the "scholars" are part of the legislation of Islam when Allah said:

    A) O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day.

That is the best [way] and best in result.Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray.

And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion.(Surah 4:59-61)

    B) They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him. (Surah 9:31).

    Is this a serious reason?
Yes, I can't stand sheikh worshipers.

Obviously sufi. Wouldn't mind a brawl with Barelvi either.

    Narai Takbir!
Salafis remind me of wall breakers in Clash of Clans. Lol

I don't mind who I sit next to.
Both have imaan in their heart and if there is a deficiency in their imaan/deen/understanding (then that is between and their creator - Allah SWT is the Most forgiving)

My main concern would be if I am fulfilling the rights of them as Insaan, as Muslims, as Musafirs. (I look after my own actions, I will one day be in the grave alone accounting for my actions)

I have concern only, which GENDER is this person? I'm not going to sit next to non-mahram, that is no way.
Otherwise, I don't care, as long she don't stink and be civil.
