    The 'Recommend A Book' Thread.

    Assalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah,

A few members have asked for book recommendations in different areas/subjects. I thought this would be a good thread to list books which members would like to recommend to each other. Or, if you would like to ask a member to recommend you something in a particular field.

    For example:

@Rifqah : Any good books to recommend on Child Psychology?

Reminder: Please be straight and to the point when asking someone of the opposite gender.

Any book by the respected Imaam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (rahimahullah) is a treasure- but the one you mentioned should be easily understood by an 18 year old, and is perfect for Ramadhaan.

There is another book too - Spiritual Diseases and Its Cure - this one is more simplistic.

Alhamdulillah simple is good so I think that's more suitable for her

I might just get both though - it'll be benefical for her

Fortress of the Muslim: Invocations from the Qur'an and Sunnah.

It's a tiny book and I have a tiny bag not a great throw-it-all-in, bag. This book fits perfectly and I can take it to work and learn them. I like it a lot, Alhamdulillah
